Grand Targhee Mountain Bike Park delivers over 2,200 vertical feet and 17 miles of lift-serviced downhill trails. You’ll find a wide variety of trails that fit any type of rider, from beginner to expert. | ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Child carriers are prohibited when accessing lift-served bike trails.
  • Foot Traffic is not allowed to load the Shoshone lift.
  • Children 12 and under who are downhill mountain biking may ride the chair if they can load, unload, and ride without assistance.
  • E-bikes are not allowed on Grand Targhee Resort downhill or cross-country trails. 

  • There are risks and hazards associated with the mountain environment and riding the chairlift with children 2 years and younger.

    PICK-UP INFORMATION
    Please visit one of the pick-up boxes located throughout the resort with a digital or printed copy of your confirmation QR code. Follow the instructions on the pick-up box and enjoy your visit. If you already have a Targhee Card from a previous visit and have loaded your lift access to it, you may go straight to the lifts. 

    REFUND POLICY
    Bike Park lift tickets are fully refundable until first use. Bike Park lift tickets are non-refundable after initial use, but they are eligible for a Rain Check if lifts close unexpectedly and they were used for two or fewer runs.
    Lost, stolen, damaged RFID cards will have to be repurchased at the current price. RFID card cost is non-refundable.

    Alpine: I've skied before and know the basics like sliding, slightly changing directions and coming to a stop.
    Snowboard: I've snowboarded before. I feel pretty good at sliding, doing the falling leaf and knowing basics like using body movements to go from toe side to heel side, can stop and fall safely.
  • LEVEL 3: NOVICE
    Alpine: I'm gaining confidence in my abilities and can link my turns together smoothly. I'm comfortable on a chairlift, can ski various sized turns on green terrain and can maintain consistent speeds.
    Snowboard: I'm gaining confidence in my abilities and can smoothly link my turns on green terrain while controlling my speed through my turns. I'm comfortable on a chairlift and able to traverse a catwalk on one edge.
  • LEVEL 4: INTERMEDIATE
    Alpine: I'm consistently skiing mostly parallel turns and maintaining consistent speed on blue terrain. I also know how and when to use my poles. I'm ready to explore areas of the mountain and feel ready to ski off trail.
    Snowboard: I'm consistently using body movements to control my turns while maintaining consistent speed on blue terrain. I can easily change from my toe edge to heel edge with slight movements while traversing. I'm ready to explore more areas of the mountain and feel ready to snowboard off trail.
  • LEVEL 5: ADVANCED/EXPERT
    Alpine: I'm very confident on my equipment in any situation on the mountain. I ski parallel turns and can keep the same speed the entire time. I know how to navigate groomed and un-groomed trails. I am working to finesse my skiing abilities in various types of terrain and snow conditions.
    Snowboard: I'm very confident on my equipment in any situation on the mountain. I know how to been all the fundamentals of snowboarding as needed and can keep the same speed the entire time. I am comfortable navigating groomed and un-groomed trails. I am working to finesse my snowboarding abilities in various types of terrain and snow conditions.

  • CHECK-IN INFORMATION
    Please check in at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the lesson at the Private Lessons Meeting Area next to the Ski & Snowboard School office. Our staff and instructors will meet you there to complete the check-in process and lesson meet and greet. Please sign our Winter Liability Waiver in advance. Skiers and snowboarders must be dressed, geared up and ready to start the lesson. All students must have lift ticket or season pass ready.
    (Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign a release form if it has not already been completed online.)

    Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance will be charged a $25 processing fee per lesson. Cancellations made within 72 hours of service date, or no shows will forfeit the total cost of the lesson.  Every effort will be made to reschedule individual lessons with 72-hour advance notice, change is subject to availability. An additional fee may apply for lesson changes.

    FULL DAY CHILD CARE - SEASON PASS BENEFIT

    Traveling with little adventurers that are not quite ready to hit the slopes? Grand Targhee Resort’s licensed Child Care Center is the perfect place for your child to have fun and play. Our program is available to children ages 1 to 5 years of age. Our care providers will keep your children entertained and can transition your child to ski lessons.

    If your little one is ready to explore the magical world of skiing or snowboarding, consider adding on a Mini Moose private lesson. Mini Moose lessons are available for children aged 3 to 5 and child must be potty trained. Call Mountain Sports School at 307-353-2300 x1352 to add a discounted Mini Moose lesson.

    FRED'S ADVENTURE CAMP - SEASON PASSHOLDER BENEFIT

    Grand Targhee’s Fred’s Adventure Camp is back for an epic summer! Kids ages 6–12 can explore weekly themes like science, wildlife, survival skills, music, and more—including two Bike Camp weeks. Pick your week(s) below! | Once registered, please fill out the registration form and email it to summercamp@grandtarghee.com before the first day of camp. The Camp Registration Form can be found on our website.

    CHECK-IN INFORMATION
    Please sign our Summer Activity Waiver ahead of time to expedite the check-in process. Visit shop.grandtarghee.com, login to your account, go to My Account > Check In. Please make sure to submit all additional paperwork before dropping off at any location.
    Parent drop-off & pick up: Meet the Teton Valley Shuttle at the Plaza staircase at Grand Targhee Resort for parent drop-off and pick up.
    Shuttle Ride: Meet the Teton Valley Shuttle at Driggs Transit Center or Alta Elementary School. Summer Camp counselors will be travelling with campers. Please be at the stop 10 minutes before the scheduled bus time.

    All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking. Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance and will be charged a processing fee of $25 per camper per day. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled camp date or no-shows will forfeit the total cost of the booking. If Fred's Adventure Camp is cancelled by the Resort and you are unable to reschedule your booking, a full refund will apply.
    Fred's Adventure Camp dates may be re-scheduled with a 48-hour advance notice.
